A fun kit for our older explorers - this owl pellet dissection kit includes a heat sterilized owl pellet, containing the remains of an owl's prey. An owl pellet is a casting of an owl. They cannot digest bones of the small animals they consume, so they regurgitate it in pellet form, which we call "castings". Your kit comes with:

• one set of instructions and information 

• a small wooden probe,

• a pair of tweezers, 

• one large sized owl pellet 

• one jar of air-dry clay

• one glass vial 

Use your wooden probe and tweezers to dissect and discover, all while learning with earthkits' written and illustrated instructions. Keep your found bones in the provided glass vial, or press the bones into the air dry clay to preserve your finds!
