Goo out of this world fun! This sustainable sensory experience is great for everyone - from celebrating Earth Day (every day!) to inspiring open-ended play, it's a great way for both young and old to engage with science and sensory exploration! Great for first time sensory users, classrooms, and an eco-alternative to birthday loot bags! 

A science experiment with "edible" slime.

Your tin contains the approximate equivalent of 4+ tbsp of powder (60g). Each tablespoon makes over 1 cup of slime. 

For stovetop (highly recommended):

1. Scoop your desired amount of powder into a bowl. 1 tbsp = 1 cup of water. 
2. Mix the powder with water over the stovetop on medium-low heat. Total process should be less than 5 mins. 
3. Stir gently. You will see the mixture thicken up, turn colours, and eventually become thick enough to create a large ball of slime. Bubbles may form.
4. Once you've reached a desired consistency for your goop, remove from stovetop. 
5. Let cool + play! 

Microwave instructions:

1. Combine powder + water 
2. Microwave for a total of 4 mins, in one minute increments. Please check the mixture frequently as it can bubble over and will get very hot. 

Storage: store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks for continued play. Empty into your compost bin when you are finished!

** note that some residue may come off on little hands, simply rub off on a damp cloth or wash at the end of play.
