Hello! Bonnie and Anita here. We are the faces behind earthkits. 

First and foremost, thank you so much for joining us in our journey and endeavour to bring something special to share with you.

We are passionate about bringing as many locally based, high quality, nature-based materials and objects into your home that can be used for play, imagination, tinkering and even for display. No more one-time-use materials and small plastic parts!

Our intention is for your littles to connect their play with their environment, by encouraging them to explore nature. We love seeing child-led, sustained play that engages all of their core learning skills and development - language and communication, physical (yup, fine and gross motor), literacy, numeracy, expressive arts and understanding the world around them.

But...Who in the world are we?

We are sisters, native Calgarians, and stay-at-home parents. Bonnie has a BFA in Visual Arts and thoroughly enjoys applying her creativity to her home and lifestyle. Bonnie is mom to a 7 year old girl. Anita has a B.Ed and has been an educator since 2005. Her daughter is 8 and her son is 4 years old. Both of us are deeply rooted in our Rocky Mountain locale and spend much of our time outdoors exploring with our children. Our quest to bring meaningful learning experiences to their lives has brought us to now, where we have come together with our passion and talent to share these experiences with you.
